Christine, your bmi is 19.6 silly. I was thinking how can her bmi be higher than mine if she's taller and weighs less. You look fabulous!

I don't want to do an update! cuz my scale hasn't been moving... Surgery Date: 9/21/2005 Highest weight: 258-260 (well when i was pregnant it could have been close to 275 Surgery weight: 248 Current weight: 161-164 cuz one day its 161 the next its 164..so i haven't been weighing my self. Total weight loss from surgery: 87 lbs Starting BMI: 45.3 Current BMI: 29.4 (whooo hoo I am only overweght) Well, I think i am not going to get any thinner cuz i don't loose anymore...

Donna, I wish I had been able to get on the computer sooner to reassure you. I have been taking Vicadin since before surgery and they even gave it to me in the hospital. I have never had any problems with it except that it makes me constipated. I actually probably take more of it than you do because I am on a pretty high dosage for my back. Just relax and take it easy, I am sure you will be up and back to your old self before you know it. Good Luck, Christine

hey Barb...I'm sorry to hear that you were in the hospital and really hope that things take a turn for the better for you very very soon. Please just do what the doctors tell you - maybe you need to tell them about the headaches tho - they may be able to give you something else. I hope whatever this is is fixed very soon for you... whine away!!! that's what we are here for - altho honestly I don't see where you've been whining at all...I hope your knee is feeling better - congrats on the 6 pound loss! good morning miss donna It's funny - I think I got bored with the protein shakes and found a way to use it outside of shakes...I have been putting a scoop of vanilla in my coffee in the morning and in the afternoon - I am going to change that today. I am always trying different ways to get the scale moving - so here is today's plan ( it seems I have a different plan everyday lately) 7 a.m. - banana 8 a.m. - protein shake (just 1 scoop of chocolate protein 2/ 4 oz skim milk & 4 oz water) 9 a.m. - coffee w/ splenda and skim milk 10:30 a.m. - pear 12:30 p.m. - 2 slices of turkey breast rolled w/ 2 slices of swiss cheese and some 2% milk cheese cubes - 1/3 cup of "craisins" 3:00 p.m. - protein shake (same as above) 6:00 p.m. - dinner - most likely a tilapia filet and string beans 9:00 p.m. - protein shake w/ frozen strawberries I try not to put too much in the protein shakes - especially now that it's cold out - I will use the davinci syrups or frozen fruit and maybe 1/2 of a banana but that's about it. and I WILL get back to the gym - tomorrow! (I can't go today since I made plans with a friend to go shopping right after work) I would really like to see 20 pounds gone by Christmas...it's a goal! You've helped a lot! Thank you... Love, Linda
