I NEED an exercise fairy!!! I need SOMETHING 
some sort of motivation to get my butt moving and get back to the gym. I weighed in this morning and yes I lost 3 pounds this week (YAY ME) but it's been a total struggle! I am having a really hard time walking past all the candy (chocolate) at the reception desk in my office - I actually broke down the other day and took one piece (Reeses peanut butter cup) - I took one bite and tossed the rest into the garbage because I knew if I ate the whole thing I would go back for another...BUT I REALLY REALLY wanted to fini****! This is going to be a very difficult holiday season for me

I NEED to get back to exercising and NOW!!! any hints on how to motivate me? I need help!

Im with the Ohio board. But this is my favorite. I wish I was here way before my surgery so I could have shared the excitement more. I came along a few months before.

So true !!!!!!!!!! Like I said this surgery is not a quick fix. This surgery saved my life. My additions are from my 20s. They did come back after Wls. But then again I am a alcohlic and was in my 20s. I had these problems way before. I think they need to put positive output about this surgery. I would have died this year if I didnt have this surgery. I still fight my demons. But Im winning. My heart is my problem now. I have had a bad heart since my heartattack in 2003 and it is hard telling how long it was bad before then. I never thought I would have a heart attack at 43 years old. If I had this surgery before my heart would not be damaged. (I was denied surgery in 2000) My heart is weak and enlarged and not able to pump and skips beats. Oprah I swear I think she had lap band. I think she lets her weight flex to cover up. I think she had it Kristie alley had it and Anna Nicole. I sewar by it. I think they cover it up.

I just looked over your profile. I just want to let you know. You look beautiful. and seem to be doing wonderful. My first grandaughter is due Dec 5 I have 3 grandsons. So this is so exciting..... We had the shower for her last weekend. and I had so much fun shopping for (Averyee Ann ) Cant wait to see her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the grandsons are so excited as well. It is so exciting !!!!!!

Oh Paula, I feel your excitement and I'm so excited for you. I do alot with the VA board and it is so fun to get together with people you've met online. Every year (well so far this is the second year) there are get togethers at a hotel in Richmond for the weekend. It's a blast. One in the summer and one in the winter. And then during the year sometimes different ones meet for dinner. I hope you get that closeness with this group. It's just another support.
I can't wait to see the pictures. You know I was planning on going to the conference this weekend in KY but changed my mind due to my knee. But I had gotten a costume and was excited about it!! I'll save it I guess, who knows, maybe I'll go to another one.
I'm so excited for you Paula. You're going to have so much fun.
And it's good the kids get to go.
