I was in kingergarden and some kids was telling my sisters I over heard them I was really upset and in denial 9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? YES 10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? FROM TOP TO BOTTOM 11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? BOTH!! 12. Can you ice skate? Yes was quite good at it. When I lived in Mass we had a lake on base I use to skate on that lake daily. It was so much fun. I dreamed of being a professional ice skater and love watching it on TV I think If i had the training I could have been a profeesional. I just loved that. . Do you prefer Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Egg nog at the holidays w/ a bit of alcohol in it, but since surgery, haven't had it...Hot chocolate, sugar and fat free all winter long. 2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? wraps them. I just did them. Anna gets one color santa paper and timmy gets another color santa paper...no tags and faking signatures involved...it's great! 3. Colored or White lights on your tree/house? white lights...but, in reality, I love the colored ones.. 4. Do you hang mistletoe? no...I kiss everyone all year long! 5. When do you put your decorations up? A week or so after Thanksgiving. we keep them up until 3 king's day in Jan, so, I don't want to get tired of them. I'm loving the tree this year, though...the kids put on the decorations this year and did a great job. They're growing way too fast. 6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? pierogi...Polish dumplings with sauerkraut inside...potato ones too... 7. What was your favorite Holiday memory as a child? My sibilings were about 15-20 years older than me, so, they'd put out the Santa gifts after I was asleep, but, they couldn't wait for the morning, so, they'd wake me up in the middle of the night and say, "paula, santa was here, come down and see"..so, sleepily, I'd go down, open up all my stuff, pick something to take to bed (usually a new dolly) and first thing in the morning start playing...(I think my parents allowed this cause my dad was drunk and wanted to sleep late) Another time, they woke me up and said "paula, santa IS downstairs, come see him. I was beyond myself. Sleepy eyed, I spotted him...I climbed up on his lap for a minute, but he told me he had a lot of work to do to get all the toys to the kids. They took a poloroid shot of me with him and it was great...the poloroid was proof the next morning that I wasn't dreaming! 8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I was a snoop! I would go up to the attic and find all the wrapped gifts. Probably kids at school, too. I was older, though. I'd unwrap all the stuff and then retape it. So, come Christmas, I knew what each gift was. To this day, I hate surprises! 9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Our family exchanges our gifts on Christmas Eve...It's a Polish tradition...and a family one. Santa gifts are opened on Christmas Morning. 10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Toys...lots of Santas, birds, wooden ornaments, ones I've gotten on vacation, yearly ones to look back on. ones the kids have made so far...white lights, start on top 11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Both.. but love it when it starts and get all excited. Hate to shovel it or drive in it. But, it doesn't slow me down. I've lived in New England all my life! 12. Can you ice skate? Haven't ice skated since high school....Not that I'm thinner, I'd love to take the kids to URI and skate at the rink. 13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Yes...too many to list. They are all wonderful. Both my first husband and now Bob always seem to get me what I ask for and both had/have wonderful taste. 14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? That my savior, Jesus Christ was born to save me of my sins. The greatest gift of all...And, to sit and reflect on what a wonderful husband and children and family I have. 15. Yes I am on social security. Thank god for that. I get 1090.00 a month. I worked many years and deserve that. since im not able to work. Putting up with Daves being so cruel for so many years. I feel i desreve some of his pension and even some allomony. He agreed to pay allomony because he knows i need many pills each month. My family I am sick of my sisters and my dad putting their nose in my business. They are not walking in my shoes. I have washed my hands of them as well. How did you come to pick the plastic surgeon? I don't know where to start. I would love a boob lift and a small implant (full C) I'm so droopy now, I have NO idea what size I truly am. Have fun. paula
