It's normal...
With him being so much a part of your life for so long weather you liked him or not you will still go through a mourning stage, missing the things you did, the way things were, having someone around...but do you really miss "Him" or what was?
You will go through the same mourning process for this as you do with death because it is a death of the life you knew...know it, embrace it and let it be, this too shall pass.
HUGS,
Shel

Topic: Merry Christmas...
To all of my friends here that celebrate Christmas in some way, shape or form, I'm (Bob & kids too) sending you all the blessings to you and your families on this most blessed day.
I'm thankful for all of you for your friendship, support, guidance and most of all, knowledge! I'm truly blessed to have such a fullfilled life now.
And, here's to a safe and healthy (wealthy too) 2007!
We'll be travelling up and down the roads of RI and CT these next couple of days.
Shortly we will be on the road to CT to my sister's home for Chrismas Eve celebration. We'll drive the 1 1/2 hrs there and same back to be home for Santa to come.
We'll wake up tomorrow, exchange and open up Santa gifts, play a bit and then get ready and head back down to the road this time to Bob's Brother's home in CT (same 1 1 /2 hr drive each way, but in a little different part of CT) for Christmas dinner with the Hepler Family...It's tiring, but worth it to be with all the family.
Be safe, eat sensibly, indulge "a little", and love one another.

I know how you feel. When I lost my mom it crushed me. I never got to say goodbye. She was so healthy and out going and beautiful. She died in her sleep at the age of 58 there was no cause of death. They could not find out what killed her. That pain of losing her will live in me forever. I never lost anyone real close. And it was devastating for my whole family. We never seen it comming
Time heals all . But you never forget.
Merry Christmas sweet Heart take care of that baby.

Merry Christmas to all of you..
We are suppost to be having Christmas with my aunt today, no presents, no ham,no turkey or fixins, So we are going to have a roast dinner at my Aunts house...lol
I think my kid is going to be a health nut, seems the only thing that helps with nausea and heartburn at 3 am is V8 juice...lol
I guess there could be worse things, I'm thinking it just because I go so long with nothing in my tummy that my body gets cranky, I'm usually in bed between 9 and 10 now. I also take a nap between 3 and 5 too.
Happy Holidays everyone.

It's going to be a Full week the first week of Sept
I was joking with a friend and said wouldn't it be cool If I could have the baby on the 5th and then I would have my b-day the 4th, the babys b-day the 5th then my surgaversary the 6th, and she said no I know how you are about numbers so the baby will have to come the 2nd so it would be 2,4,6th
Lucky hubby now he doesn't have to shop for Christmas or my Birthday...lol

Hi Ma,
Or should I say Grand"ma" hehe.
You should make the blanket in whatever colors you want. We are annoying alot of people but we decided we did not want to know until the baby was born what the sex was.
My aunt was having a fit cuz now she has no way of knowing what to plan for a shower,
She wanted to have it a couple months before the baby came. I explained to her that with her new granddaughter coming in June it would be the last thing on her mind and besides how neat would it be to wait till after the baby was born and and then give the baby it's first "birth" day party. Now she is all excited again.
If we do know before Sept what the baby is it will be by mistake.
I was kind of down the morning of the 22nd but it helped alot hearing everyone get excited and tell me how happy they were we got what we wanted for Christmas.

Thank you Pam
I think the best part of it so far was that I spent the 22nd of Dec hearing all day how wonderful it was that we were having a baby and not how sad it was my mom had been gone a year, and although I did hear it, It didn't seem so hard to take.

Thank you Barb,
A beauty huh? She must look just like her grandma then
Looks like we both got what we wanted for Christmas.
It's a wonderful feeling to know so many people care so much for this baby already and he/she is only the side of a sesame seed.
Hugs,
Shel
