Topic: wow, Wow and WOW
I just can't believe how the wow's keep coming! We are 16 months post op already, WOW! Time just flies doesn't it? I posted some new pictures on my profile from Christmas through New Year's. I have a pic in there of my on New Year's day last year and then this year. I had already lost 70lbs at that point last year but WOW what a difference still.
I am just so thrilled with my life these days. As of this morning I was 128.5lbs!!! I have a BMI of 22.1 (wow), I am wearing a size 4 (Wow) and I checked my body fat percentage the other day and it was only 19% (WOW)!! A healthy range for my age, height, sex, etc is 17%-24% so 19% is stinkin awesome!! I am just so excited! Well I'm going to go update my blog now, just had to share. Happy New Year everyone!

Too funny the other donna and I were just talking about not seeing ourselves as we are. I get those comments all the time. You dont look like you could ever be fat, the nurse giving my b shot said i was tiny the other day. I take it as a compliment but i also show people my before picture if its handy. I worked hard to get here and i want them to see how hard. Is that bad of me? I also get oh you dont need plastic surgery you look great. I just say yeah you havent seen me with my clothes off and that puts an end to it. lol
I told Donna we needed to all add a new picture this week I think we are all having the head issues with body image. I know I am anyway and i havent posted a new pic since April.

First you are little now!! And look fabulous by the way. I will post pics some day...sigh when I figure it out. But YES take the pic and show her how hard you have worked with your new tool to look fab.
On another note. This will be my last post for a week or so.. Monday is the big surgery day: Tummy tuck, hernia repair(BIG ONE) and breast lift. Be thinking of me as you go to bed Sunday night and then monday and pray for my lovely German surgeon who I am sure will do a great job. Hugs for now. Jacqueline

I know exactly what you mean/ Now is the time for that Damn Brain surgery to make us see how great WE are doing and have done and how great WE looked. It is such a body issue for me too. My little 5 year old niece noticed a big difference at Christmas( hadn't seen her in a year but I struggle to notice. A 5 year old for goodness sakes notices what I cannot!! Counseling or Brain Transplant for me!! At least we have each other on this forum to help us out!! Thanks Jacqueline

Dilema huh? remember that sugar free candy and foods usually have sugar alcohols in them that are likely causing your problems( Worse than sugar for me) I struggle with the happy medium place too, and struggle with knowing that a little sugar: I can tolerate it. Just depends on how much and honestly, it is a daily struggle: Easier for me when I am at work... I try desparetly not to buy anything that will tempt me cause one is not enough: I want the entire bag and more. Good luck with the struggle and maybe 0 is the solution; Sigh... for me too. sigh..... jacqueline

I am going in Monday Jan 8 for Tummy Tuck, Major Hernia Repair and Breast lift. Believe me: I will post when I get home from the hospital (Probably 5 days as I live in Germany and they are really conservative about letting you go) and let you know how it was. I am SOOOOOOOOOO nervous. Two more days. I will not likely post again until after the event as I am calling it. Hang in there. The surgeon said: No pain. And I asked him how many of these surgery had he had done on him!! He is German so did not get the humor!! Hugs, Jacqueline
