Topic: Is any having problems with their blood sugar bottoming out???
In the last month or so, my blood sugar has bottomed out to the point of me being faint, shaky and a little scared. Today, I took my blood sugar on my dh's glucometer and it read 48....normal is between 80 & 120 or so. I just wondered if anyone is experiencing this, and if so, what you are doing about it. ~~em

I take Viactive chewables ( milk chocolate) I take the multi vitamins for women get them at Walmart.. Normal Serving is 1, I take 2... WARNING.... I don't dump, these have 2 grams of sugar each, and are 20 calories each.. For me to get my vits in, I do not care!!!! BUT... Viactive vits are terms for FLAMING on the MAIN board... It WORKS for me.. My labs are perfect... I have taken the calcium one too, but these have 200 mg calcium each in them.. I know I should have more, but once again... my labs are PERFECT... twice now... If you want to know all the stats on them I can get it for you..

Topic: Little Twit in Pilates - Grrr
Well I struggle with pilates, because of my knee not bending 100% like a normal knee. So the instructor always gives me a 'modification' to do. So yesterday she said, put the ball behind you while you do pull ups and it won't put pressure on your knees and back. The little twit next to me said 'but isn't she cheating whenshe does that'. Before I could slap her - the instructor said no, I was still getting the same benefit just not hurting my knee and 'we would all do well to remember some of these modifications because at some point in our life we'll be doing them too.' So there you little twit -- enjoy your size 2 spandex'd body and lovely lineless face, and no hanging tummyj -- you'll get yours. Oh yeah, you'll get yours!! I know she was 'just a twit' and I shouldn't let it bother me, but it did sort of. I felt like I was doing baby stuff. So how are YOU doing!! love donna

Tanya, you look awesome. You should be proud of yourself!! Just curious, what kind of vitamins do you take and what is the dosage? Seems like I am always taking some vitamin!! I was saying the other day to someone that I've had a little flu, nothing serious, but the first thing my mom, and my daughters, said was 'is it because of your surgery'. Funny, people think everything now is a result of the surgery!! Talk to you later, love donna

Tell them your hoping he's not going to be losing weight because he very sexy to you just the way he is and you wouldn't want him any other way and you were the one with the problem not him....lol When hubby came home we was 5'10 and 185 lbs , you know my but went right to feedin him and fattin him back up hehehe I don't like scrawny men never have never will, I seem to like them best between 220 and 240. My hubby points out all the time when I worry about the weight that I must have like 30-50 lbs of skin saggin so I should take that off the scale weight, and then the 20% my surgeon gives for bone mass left from obesity ...bless his little delusional heart...lol As far as eating more hubby used to ask about it but not in a you should eat more way and I would explain to him that even if I thought I wanted more the pouch just would not allow it , now that I'm pregnant he giggles now and then because on a good day I can eat 2 oz of meat or cottage cheese, 1/2 cup of veggies and fruit, he says it's just weird watching me eat twice as much now, and I think to myself was I really eating so little b4? I want you to know Shel, that I think you are a special lady!!! You are not a failure!! You couldnt get pregnant before surgery, and now you will have a little one!!!! Don't worry, even after you have the baby, I will still be here, and I know that you can do this!!! I'm here, but always usually late at night, almost every day..... I'm SO AFRAID, I'm going to wake up over 350 lbs again... SO SCARED..... I wonder every day.... my mom keeping pointing out things that happen to people I have been fortunate to have had NO complications, and my labs are perfect!! I have only had to take a regular women vits with clacim.. and they're PERFECT!!! NO b12 and all that... I eat almost anything I want in moderation, but stay away from sode, rice & pasta.. Most bread I stay clear of too... Other than that I eat what I want, and gosh carn if I want 3 bites of cake I eat it... and then throw it away or give to rest of family.... COULD I HAVE DONE BETTER???? You betcha......... Am I proud of where I've come??? YES..... I will stay on this board to stay focused and know I am not alone... and you aren't either!!!!!! I live in Indiana,,about 20 minutes west of Indianapolis. Hoosier born and bred, thats for sure. This has been the coldest winter in a few,,and it started out so warm!! Oh well, if you live in Indiana and dont like the weather,,wait a few minutess, itll change!! I usually checke the bards on Sunday afternoons while hubby takes a nap. Lets see,,what do I eat... breakfast is usually a shake, and coffee of course. Thats around 10AM..(I love being retired..up late, sleep late!!) Snack is pepperonis slices, or cottage cheese with splenda and cinnamon in it Lunch is sometimes a bowl of chili with a few crackers and a handful of cheddar cheese..snack is usually cheese or sf pudding or a banana Supper may be a chicken salad with sheese and chunks of chicken and boiled egg. BUT THE NIGHTTIME MUCHIE**** AROUND 9 PM!! Thats when Im usually on the computer,,and its snack time,,peanuts, a slimfast shake, a glass of milk, sometimes chips or popcorn or a few chunks of cheese, any of these,,sometimes more than one!! And I hate water,,and am soooo sick of crystal light!! So, I really need to start writing down what I eat,,,and making myself stop the snacking at night. Thats the hardest part for me! i havent eaten much today because my tummy has been cramping,,maybe that flu trying to get hold. Hope not!! I have had a slim fast low carb shake, another type of shake for breakfast, and 2 ounces of cheddar cheese today. I did my exercising though, and Im drinking,,so far, 20 ounces of water and 12 ounces of coffee.. Tonight after church we are having a dinner,,a chili supper actually, so I will do well thre. And Ill take a bottle of water to churchwith me. So, at least Im trying again! Well, have a great one!! catch ya later Blessings betsy

Hi Betsy, where do you live? It's cold here too in Virginia. I hate it. I am a hot person, love the heat, and in fact would love to live in the desert. Who knows, maybe when we retire and can't afford to move back to California. I may not check in on Sundays cause of church, but will try the rest of the time. I need the encouragement and support too. Betsy, you said that you are eating wrong, give me an example of what you eat for a typical day. I bet it's not that awful!! talk to you later, love donna

breastbones - who would have thought!! I have to tell you that I love to put my hands on my waist now. First, I have a waist, and second I can feel the bones. Didn't know I had them. But -- I still don't have good stomach muscles, I can't do a roll up in pilates!!! And I really really try. love donna
