Home from nashville

If you havent been to nashville you need to go. The gaylord hotel was breathtaking. Like a tropical island. People was swimming outside. It was the best time of my life. We had so much fun. I danced on the bar at coyote uglys. (That was on the movies ) We have pictures of that. 3 nights just wasnt enough time. We ate at the rain forset. the aquarame(SP), and the wild horse saloon. Ever here of fried pickles. Yum !!!! Never dreamed I would like them. My friends are emailing me pictures. My camera batterys was bad. I will get those up. We rode the horse and buggy in town for a tour. We did so much I am wore out. I will go back everyyear now. It was so much fun. We smiled and laughed all the way home. Didnt leave nashville until 3:00 pm yesterday. We just didnt want to leave. I highly recommend a trip there. It was so much better than gatlinburg. I am going back. Our hotel over looking the gardens was like a paradise. I just cant fit everything in. But I got a new tattoo a wrap around flower vine on my ankle. And got a wrap around on flower on my arm. Ouch. I guess Im loking like a harley momma. Will get pics up here soon. Take Care Barb

Barb, Sounds like you had a blast. I have never been on vacation anywhere. Maybe someday?! Did the tattoos hurt really bad? I want to get one on my lower back so badly, but I am chicken sh--. Can't wait to see your pictures. I think I am just going to live vicariously through you. Christine

I never went anywhere when I was young. Since they was big tattoos they hurt really bad. The lady said I was tough. She said most men would have cried. A small one wouldnt be nothing for me now. Yes the ankle one was really bad. I pulled my hair to try and get the pain else where. I think the lower back would be hard. I think you could do it. Hugs Barb

Oh that is great news, that she got to shower. I couldn't while I was there and I bet it felt SO good for her. I have bleeding issues, too, so I sympathize with her. Thankfully I did not need transfusions this time, but I know how she feels. I hope she'll get to go home tomorrow. It's so much more comfy to recover in your own castle! Hugs to Shannon! Christine

A TATTOO!! Oh my gosh!! You are a rocking mama!! I am so square, I know I won't do that, but it sure is tempting!! It seems to go with wls - everyone gets one after they've lost some pounds. Sort of a liberation thing I guess. For me, I think I'll go with some obscene piercing!!! Barb, it sounds like you had such a blast. I wish I could hang with you, you do fun things. Nashville and Chattanooga are my homes away from home. I adore Nashville, next time you are in town you should catch a show at the Ryman, just because it is the RYMAN. And you didn't go to The Stanley Cup Playoff game at Gaylord Auditorium? Shame on you! I like The Wild Horse, and pretty much all of Broadway and Second. For Christmas we went with a group to The Melting Pot on Second, just up from the Wild Horse.

Michael, I did miss alot. I just didnt have enough time to do everything I wanted. I am going back I hope in August. Missed the stanely cup and melting pot. Had a great time. I needed a full week to really see as much as I wanted. I also needed much more money. Thanks Barb
