It is really funny reading what you all get to eat. Today I got to have 1 oz thin mashed potatoes and 1oz unsweet applesauce. I did go buy some samples of isopure and another one and will try after surgeon's visit today to remove staples. I am on full liquids this wee****il next Wed and then pureed for a week and then can add flaked fish and some other things. So we are very slow at adding food. I never had gerd or any other problem before surgery...no other meds, so taking coumidin and nexium and karafate are real hard.
I will know more after my blood work today and visit w/surgeon.
Thanks Lady D
I LOVED THAT STAGE OF EATING ... I STAYED ON IT MUCH LONGER THAN I WAS REQUIRED.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OF THE DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS, WHY DID THEY PUT YOU ON THOSE 3 MEDS? &, FOR HOW LONG? MAN, ALL I WANTED AFTER DECADES OF TAKING MEDS, WAS TO GET OFF THEM ... I DID & NOW I ONLY HAVE MY 2 HEART MEDS ... OFF 26 DOSES OF MEDS A DAYYYYYYYY! FOREVER! THANK YOU GOD, DR BYRNE & WLSurgery!
MS CHERYL & I GO TO MUSC ON MONDAY FOR OUR 1st BLOOD WORK AFTER SURGERY.
Are we counting what our pedometers say at the end of each day? From just wearing it all day long? Or, are we supposed to be only counting when we take a walk for exercise...
I've been going by how much I walk for my exercise that day...not my total walking for the entire day...
Anyways...I didn't put the pedometer on once this past week because I still have been sick and couldn't exercise one day. I finally got to the urgent care yesterday and have a horrible sinus infection that's spreading throughout my body!
Hopefully, by later this week, I'll be up and going again. It won't make me successful for this month's challenge, but I will start again soon,
