Well 2nd day in a row that the magic scale has read 250! Down 162lb so far since surgery. I was on a serious plateau during the last half of March. Didn't lose anything for about 20 days, then all of a sudden another big rush of weight came off. It was really hard not to become depressed by the lack of weight loss. Positive thoughts. I have had a lot of physical exertion going on, building an Arizona Room at the house. I am now an official Junior Carpenter. And we are relocating one of our business to another suite in the same business complex. A lot of 16 hour work days. Just think 6 months ago I would have been hard pressed to do any of it, now on this past sunday I was up and down a ladder probably 200 times. Woohooo! Well my reward was to book my airfare to Germany in Sept. Now on to my next goal. At this stage the goals have become smaller since it is harder to lose weight. My next goal is 225lb. Woohoo.

Michael, your post will be an inspiratio to all of us who are stalling along the way. It happens -- and the it starts working again!! Congratulations -- being on a stall for 20 days is a major bummer, I know, I've been there too!! You are going to have a great time in Germany and trust me as someone who just went on a flight, it is such a rush to fit in the seats and pull down the laptray!! Keep it up!! And be careful on those ladders!! love donna

Okay, now to be serious... LOL... way to go, I've noticed I'm now down to losing only 1.5 lbs a week instead of the 5 a week I was losing before, but I'll take it even if it goes slowly... as long as it keeps going AWAY! Now, the ultimate question... will you hit 225 before me? Hmm... I was at 233 last week, so I appear to have a head start, but you're losing faster LOL... HUGS, keep up the good work! Rachel

Congratulations, It is so frustrating when we hit a plateau. I did the same thing with ping ponging back and forth between a couple of pounds then it started coming off again. I am now down to 157 and very excited. I have 17 more to go. It is now going slowly. The scary thing is feeling the hunger again. I have to really concentrate on knowing when I am hungry and just bored. I am very proud and honored to be with a great bunch of people. I read the boards all the time, but have not responded. It is so great to know every one has the same feelings and issues. Again, congratulations and continued success. (sorry for the spelling).
