Shireen, You are SO beautiful, heavy or thin. I'm glad, though, for your health, that you had this surgery and are doing well. I loved all of your pictures, and you have a beautiful daughter, too! I know what you mean about the "snacking". I think a lot of us here at about 6-7 months out are dealing with the same issues right now. It must be boredom with the eating plan or something. Or, we've lost a lot of weight, we want to let ourselves "go" a bit. But, with each other's help, we'll get by. Never been to LA before...Love to visit there someday! Paula

Paula, You are so kind. Thank you for your compliments. We will make this together... I finally lost 1 freakin lb as of today after 4 weeks! OUCH! HOpe it continues to move alittle more every day or few days.... It has NEVER moved every day for me. It has always been like every 5 days or so. Hugs, me

Hi Shireen, well this gave me a good chance to read your profile! wow - what a journey. You are such an inspiration, Shireen. And I have to tell you, you make me ashamed that my profile is so lame, I haven't updated in a while. I have all the stuff I just need to put it in. And I love how you do your pictures!! That is awesome. I live in Virginia now, but I'm a California girl too!! Lived in the Upland/Claremont area (Alta Loma and Chino) for all my life. Thanks for sharing Shireen!! love donna

Donna, So nice to hear from you. Yes, I have had one hell of a journey! Still hard for me to believe sometimes. But it has been all worth it so far and I would not change a thing except all my little scars all over my tummy from all of my surgeries.. but oh well, it gives me stories to tell and charater to have Right? Hi Jan, small world!! Both my daughters graduated from Alta Loma HS, and one of my daughters married someone who graduated from Upland HS. Yes, we want to get back to SoCal but it will be too dang expensive by the time we retire. We're thinking Arizona maybe or Nevada, not that property isn't expensive there, but maybe not as bad. Oh well, meanwhile it's a nice day in Virginia!! love donna
