scared!!!
Hi everyone
I am 6 months out and have lost 85# The problem is that in the last 6 weeks i have only lost about 3!!
What is happening?? I have heard of plataues but for this long???
Is this all the weight that i'm going to loose?? i hope not because i still have a bit to go. have increased water and exercise and still no luck
Today for lunch a had chili from wend's a small and i almost ate the whole thing!! is this to much or are you all eating this much?? should i start to panic??
thanks for listening

Hi Paula, Weight loss is slow for just about everyone....and the reason you can eat alot of chilli is because it's liquids and the beans are made up of mostly water.............i think this is all normal..I've only lost 5lbs in a month and last month it was only 2lbs at the doctors so don't worry your not alone.....there is a plateau buster diet but i choose not to do it cuz i don't like dieting.....lol...lol

The entire month of Feb I only lost 6 pounds. My eating habits were the same, I log EVERYTHING into fitday.com. Then in March it picked up and I'm doing okay this month. I asked the surgeon and he said it is normal and that these stalls/plateaus are a sign that you are still in rapid weight loss..... So no worries, stick with it.

Hi Paula, I guess it you look at posts from maybe the last few weeks you would see oh probably about a dozen that sound just like yours!! Everyone is feeling the slow down. I guess it's normal, but after losing at turbo speed the first few months, it's like, whoa, what's happening.
Don't panic ---

Thanks everyone for the responses. like i have read we all hit those stalls. i just still have that constant fear that this is going to turn out like every other diet and the weight will all come back ( as silly as this sounds i have had a few dreams were i'm back to my heaviest) i just don't want this to fail like all the other times..
thanks again
