6mths post op!!

Hey everybody, I know I am up late but anyway... Monday I will be 6th months post op, I have lost 141 lbs since Sept 27, I can't believe it. I am now at the weight were most of you started 276. But if I don't loose another lb I am happy here, I can actually walk and talk at the same time, I can bend over and oh yeah for the first time in 10 years, I weigh less than my Husband!!! I can get in the floor and play with my 3yr old, I can shop and not have to go online to buy my clothes. I can weigh on a regular scales, I know I have 126 more lbs to get to my personal goal weight, I set short term goals such as getting to 350lbs and then to 300lbs and now actually saying that I weigh less than 300lbs is a miracle from God. My next short term goal is only 26lbs away yeah!! Just felt like sharing my story!! Thanks for listening, Angie 9-27-05 417lbs 3-27-05 276 lbs - 146

Good for you. Im so happy for you. I see alot of people are thinking the weight loss is over for them. Myself included. I figure it must be the nature of this surg to really slow at this point and let your body catch up. At least I hope thats what it is. Keep up the good work. I also set small goals for myself it seems they are easier to keep a focus on. Good Luck Tammy O
