I am so excited....
Everyone, I finally lost 80 pounds since surgery and 112 total. I know many of you have lost much more than I but I was so excited when I saw that number of 224 come up. I have been having wow moments such as I can now cross my legs like a real lady and I sat in a booth at a restaurant with my hubby without having him pull the table towards him. This is the most exciting time of my life. I would even think by now that my family and coworkers would be tired of hearing from me but I am wrong. I am so blessed and thankful for having been given this opportunity to begin my life again. That in itself is a WOW moment. Don't you think?
What is it about cheese and crackers??! I crave it too!!!
Im eating more some days, less others,,but never over about 5 ounces. So far Ive lost 92 pounds, so it must be working. I put the Unjury unflavored protein powder in everything just about, I think that is helping too.
So thankful for this September board, so we can compare our problems and wow moments! I have NEVER been able to cross my legs!! I was sitting in church beside my best friend the other night and casually crossed my legs,,I thought she was gonna fall off the pew! She said, "Ive known you for 34 years,,and you have never been able to do that!!!" talk about a WOW moment!!
Betsy,
That is so great. I love to cross my legs and it is so amazing to be able to bring my leg up to put a sock on, or bend over to tie my shoes, all these little things that most people never think of doing are truly exciting for us now.
Yeah, the crackers and cheese are going to have to get under control. I've always been a big carb person. So the crackers were always right there with the cheese, but starting today, I had the cheese by itself and made it thru the day without a cracker. I'm sure the salt in the cracker was not good for me either.
Nice to talk with all of you, happy leg crossings!
