What is everyone having in the morning? I have a protein drink between 6 and 7 (While I am driving to work)- then I work out for 45 minutes and drink up to 20 oz of water. I usually have a yogurt around 9:00 and by 10:30 I am starting to get hungry. I have a very hard time making it until lunch at 12:00.I don't want to start grazing which seems to be happening more and more. It is especially hard during "that time" any help will do donna ps I too am in a stall-

I am getting hungry too! I also do a protein drink in the am (I usually do Achieve One Coffee Drinks), then around 10:00am or so I have either a bananna (my potassium was too last last visit) or I like the South Beach Diet cereal bars. Those stick with me, with the bananna (or some days yogurt), I get hungry. For now I just try to drink and ignor that I am hungry until lunch, but it is harder! I also get hungry at night more than I used to. I bought a box of those 100 calorie snack packs of the kind with little prezets, crackers etc mixed and that helps at night, at least I know it is only 100 calories I am wasting on snacking! I wanted the Oreo flavored snack packs, but they had more sugar and fat.

Sounds to me like you need something more solid in the morning. You're practically drinking away the morning... nothing you're consuming sits in your tummy for long to make you feel satisfied. Maybe hard boil an egg and eat it instead of the yogurt.

I can't do eggs. Which kind of bums me out. I used to love hard boiled eggs. Breakfast was my favorite meal of the day. I can do the oatmeal like other suggested- may try that instead. thanks donna

Hi Donna, I would suggest that you have a heartier breakfast...something that will stick with you longer than the liquid that you're having now. It also gets you out of the night long "fast" that your bodies go into while sleeping. Can you have some cheese or cottage cheese? Some kind of dense protein that will stay in your pouch longer? Have the protein drink for your mid morning snack to get you through to lunch... Hang in there...the stall won't last...change things around a *****ange your workout a bit and maybe you'll start losing again. paula

Thanks Paula I may try having the drink later. In fact it can be a bit heavy first thing in the morning. Someone else suggested oatmeal- I may go that route... cheese is also good though I don't care for the cottage cheese. I noticed that a lot of the stalls are ending hopefully mine will also. thanks donna

I usually have protein drink at 6am and at 8.30am I eat oatmeal then do my drinking until 12pm then have lunch at 12.30pm. You have something thats going to last longer in you pouch. Judy N

In the morning I have a protein drink while working out and then come home from the gym and eat a breakfast of cottage cheese or sometimes grits with lowfat cheese mixed in. I am almost never hungry before lunch and sometimes forget to eat it. I would recommend eating breakfast in addition to the protein drink. Courtney

I, too, find I am getting a bit more hungry at times. What helps me is to grab some protein...sandwich meat, cheese, 1 T on 3 saltines etc... Another thing for breakfast, get the steel-cut oats instead of the instant oatmeal...yummy! I put 1/2 teaspoon of Splenda Brown on 1/2 cup of cooked oatmeal (I make a big batch on the weekends, put 1/2 cup in each of 6 custard cups and then nuke it when I want it) and I also put 1 teaspoon of heavy cream on it. Yum.

Depending on what "kind" (flavor) protein drink you have, you can add it to oatmeal. I use American Sports Nutrition Tropical Banana Bomb and I LOVE it in oatmeal. I also use a high-protein cocoa (from Kanani Falls) for my mid-morning snack. I find that anything with protein carries me for a much longer time... Blessings, Pam
