Not feeling well gall bladder????

Hi guys, I frequently read the posts on this site, and occassionally post, and I truly appreciate everyone's support. I am just wondering if any of you have had gallbladder problems. I have had about 5 attacks. I didn't know what they were, but then as I was talking to a lady who had her stomach stapled, she was telling me that she had to have her gall bladder removed, and her symptoms were teh same as mine. I went to the Dr. last Thursday and they have me set up for lab work tomorrow and an altersound next Monday. I have been so sick the last two days, and I'm thinking it may be a virus, but want to make sure it's not gall bladder related. I have had diarhea all day (sorry for the information) and these extremely intense pains in my stomach. Just wondering if any of you have experineced this. I lost 5 pounds from yesterday to today.. Thanks for your info.

Were/are you taking Actigall at all? Gall stones are extremely common when you lose weight quickly. I'm not saying that it's not your gall bladder (because it is so common), but most gall bladder pain is felt in your back. Good luck! It seems crazy to say, I hope it is a nasty virus!

when I had my attacks. it was before surgery. I keep having episodes. Of flue like symptoms and very week and sweating very bad. It was terrible. I would get this checked asap. Take Care Barb

were they like gas pains, and then you would pass gass? It's still happening today??

It was like a flu that lasted longer than a flu would. I would throw up and have the diarra and frezzing and sweating. To weak to move. I kept having this happen and they found stones in my gallbladder. My daughter had this happen after she had her son as well. it can be very painful. I would get it checked.
