How likely is this?
I was sitting here thinking would I ever make it into the century club I wounder what are the chances that I will lose a 100#? if anyone out there is good at math and wants to figure this out for me please do. lets see I am 5-2" and I started out @ 246 on sept 20th 2005 I am now @ 180# on march 8th 2006 I think Michael said on average I lose about 2.5#'s a week? so if I coutinue to lose weight how long until I lose 100#? and is it even likely I'll get there by my 1 year mark?
thanks guys
Marie 246/180/130
If you can keep your average above 2 pounds a week, you'll lose over 104 pounds in a year.
At 2.5 pounds a week, you'll lose 130 pounds in a year.
At 3 pounds a week, you'll lose 156 pounds in a year.
At 4 pounds a week (my personal goal for the year... well 3.98 pounds per week, close enough.) You'll lose 208 pounds in a year.
At 2.5 pounds a week, it will take you 40 weeks to reach the century mark. You're currently 24.3 weeks out from surgery. So that means you'll hit the century mark around 6/26/06.
Since you're likely to slow down some, it may be August before you do... but yea... I think you will.

Marie,
You are almost exactly like me, I started weighing 248 and now I weigh 188. I am also 5-2" My surgery was on 9/21/2005. How weird is that. But you actually lost 6lbs more than me..I think I got step up the exercising if I want to get to the 100lb mark ..... also i haven't been loosing for a couple weeks.
