Citracal has creamy bites now...

I just bought three boxes of the new Citracal Creamy Bites...they're like the Viactiv, but are Calcium Citrate, the kind of calcium we WLS patients need. My doctor requires only Calcium Citrate. They come in like four or five different flavors. I bought: Chocolate Mint Caramel Chocolate They also have: Lemon Creme and maybe one other.. Nutrition Info: 30 per container Calories: 35 Total Fat: 1.5G Cholesterol: 5mg Sodium 40mg Total Carb 5g Sugars 4g Protein 0 Vitamin D : 200 IU per piece Calcium (as calcium citrate) 500mg ******* They aren't bad, I can get them down and take 4 a day and get in what I need...it's a good addition to the liquid that I take, too. Sounds wonderful!! i will have to see if I can buy them through the internet. I live overseas and KNOW i will not be able to buy them here. Thanks for the tip. I get a lot of my calcium through food and milk but believe any extra cannot hurt. Thanks again for the tip. Jacqueline

I just picked up a box of the choc mint. Walmart in my area has it. I think it was about $6 a box. I'm going to try it tomorrow....

Hi Paula, I got some of these too. I skipped the lemon flavor as I heard it wasn't that good, but yummy on the others. Now I thought we only needed two a day, but you say four? I'll increase mine. I got mine at Walmart for about $6. Thanks for this tip!! love donna
