Hi everyone I seems that i have been stuck for about 3 weeks. i am starting to get really discouraged. I am begining to think that this is all the weight that i will lose with this surgery. not to mention that the hair loss is unbelievable. There have been a few time that i lost so much i actualy cried. i need to get out of this rut.... i am going to try drinking extra water to see if that helps. i don't know what else to do. i hope the scale moves soon because i have a doc app in a few weeks i would like to be under 200 by then. i'm 14 pounds away but i just can't seem to get past this. Thanks for listening *Paula*

Paula hon are you measuring. Your body is probably freaking out on you right now. Dont get discouraged. I know its hard my loss has really slowed this last couple of months but the sizes are falling away still so ill keep trudging away. I can also relate to the hair loss mine is awful it will slow then i think its almost over then it starts back up again. Ask you doc for blood work to make sure your getting enough protein Im sure he will tell you your doing great and just keep pluggin away at it. Tammy O

Paula, I was also in a rut, I tried to increase my physical exercise routine. It worked for me. I love swim aerobics. Low impact, and I love the water. Adding this helped me to start up my weight loss again. Hope this helps. Michelle Allard

Paula, Have you tried the plateau buster diet. I have heard it works if you want to give it a shot. I got it off theroadtothin.com- but I personally haven't tried it but I have heard a lot of good things about it. Christine

I just want you to know you're not alone with hair thing. I've always lost a lot of hair, I've chalked it up to the fact that I have very curly hair and if I'm not straightening it I don't bru**** much. Yesterday I NEEDED to color my hair. Since surgery, I've used the new root covering color by clariol. So it's 6:30 am on Sunday, and I'm up with my DH (he works nights 6pm to 6am and it's his weekend to work) and I decide to color my hair. I wait the 40 minutes and start to rinse - I must have made some kind of noise, cause my hubby comes running into the kitchen (unusual cause he's not "that" kind of guy). He sees the hair all over my hands, not strands CLUMPS, it's in the sink, he actually had to pull it out of the disposal cause it was clogged up. He actually helped me finish rinsing and then mosturized my hair, I couldn't stop crying. Thankfully, I have thick hair but, if you look underneath, you can see some spots........(bald spots).......... Micha
