A new column on the chart!
Okay, I found this on The Mens forum, and thought it whimsical enough to use here. I hope you all find it useful.
I've added a new column to the updates chart. That new column in called "milk jugs." Roughly speaking, a gallon jug of milk weighs 9 pounds, depending on fat content. (Skim milk weighs slightly less than whole milk.)
So I now calculate from your total pounds lost column the number of milk jugs you've lost. Keep that number in mind so that the next time you're at the grocery story, you can walk by the milk counter and pick up a jug of milk... then think how many of those jugs you've lost!
I've nearly lost 16 jugs. I can't imagine walking around with 16 jugs of milk hanging from my body.
Michael - - I love it! Just love the way you put things into perspective for us. Always uplifting. So glad you're back. What a journey you're on. I struggled carrying a 40 lb. bag of dog food in and just can't imagine carrying 80+ extra pounds around. How in the heck did we do it?
By the way, I'm down to 160 now!! So slow, but steady.
Thanks for all you do.
Hugs to you . . . Sydney
