I can't seem to win...
Here I am, down 100 lbs according to the home scale (waiting to get in to see Dr Wynn for my 6 month check for the official weigh in though) and I can't enjoy myself because I'm so friggin sick! I spend all last week lying around trying to feel better and not caring that I didn't even shower (yeah that's pretty bad I know) and now I'm to work and desperately trying to prove my worth now that they've been without me for a week when all I want is to go home and crawl back in bed!
Pray for me okay? This thing is trying hard to turn into pneumonia and I'm trying hard to get functioning. As is I had to take unpaid leave and will take a huge pay cut my next check and won't be able to make ends meet.
Love to all.
Rachel
Rachel,
Congratulations on the 100 pounds you have lost. That horrible cold is going around here too. My baby(she'll be 3 tomorrow)has been trying to fight it for 2 weeks now and can't seem to get rid of it.
I am sure people that you work with understand what it is like to be so sick. They would not have hired you if they felt you weren't worthy of the position.
I will pray for you and your family. I hope things work out ok.
Hugs,
Christine
First of all congrat on the 100 pound loss! I know what you are going thru. I was had the flu in December with 105 fever and admitted to the hospital for my asthma. I was sick for over 1 month and I also had to take a loss of pay because I had no time since I took it off for surgery. But I can tell you things will work out. You will get better and the only suggestion I have regarding your bills is if you call your bill collectors and explain you have been out sick they may default a payment or two. It may be worth looking into. Anyway, when you get better ask your PCP about b12 shots. I had to take them for 6 weeks and trust me when I say I felt a lot better once I got them. Of course I was not taking b12 vitamins at that time. I do hope you get better soon and I will keep you in my prayers. Take care
