Confused
We all love compliments. I have found some people are afraid of offending you so they don't say a thing, then you get the ones that say I am so glad you have done something about your weight, and some seem oblivious. Well the only person that you have to impress is yourself. The rest will just happen naturally. Remember this is just the beginning of the rest of your life. In a few years you can look back and laugh about the whole ordeal. Keep your chin up.
I have found sometimes spouses don't pay you the compliments for several reasons. 1. They see you everyday. 2. A little jealousy from the extra attention you may be receiving.
Hi Michelle, So sorry no one could tell you how great you look. I am one who gets offended if I am stared at and ogled over. I dont mind a compliment, but family members tend to go overboard. And just stare like I am some sort of freak. They cant quit telling me how much better I look. On the other hand my mother in law who was always the first to tell me how FAT I was. She never commented after the loss. I just shrug it off, and consider the source.
