Maria,
I can totally relate to your level of frustration. I seem to get stuck for a week or two, and then I start losing again. Sometimes I feel I have unrealistic expectations of how much I should be losing, or compare myself to others. I have to be very careful that I don't get into the negative mindset. As over weigh people we are very good a sabotaging our selves with negative thinking. I have to keep reminding myself, it took me a long time to become overweight, and it's going to take me a long time to lose all my weight! I think it's difficult for a lot us to comprehend the weight loss we've achieved, and want it to more all the time. We're impatient to get to goal or think we'll never get there.
I think you should feel very proud that you made the decision to have WLS, to take control of your eating, and your health. I looked at your numbers, and you seem to be right on target. The average weight loss percentage for the September Board is 23.7%, and you're at 24%...you're above the average!
My advice to you would be to get back to basics. I do not believe in, or advocate the plateau busters diet. I had WLS to never be on that kind of diet ever again. I try to follow the 4 weight loss rules. These rules are from Kaye Bailey's living after WLS web site.

They are sound advice, and the same ones my doctor recommends.
· Protein First
· Lots of Water
· No Snacking
· Daily Exercise
I hope this helps. I have also found support groups to be very helpful too. Let's me know I'm not so different from others. The one I attend is run by a therapist with 20+ years of counseling people with weigh loss issues. The most important thing I've learned is, weight loss after WLS doesn't just happen, its hard work.
All the best,
Linda R
