How many times a day does everyone eat?
I only eat twice a day by doctors orders. If I drink a protein shake, I have to count that as a meal. Heres a usual day for me
Breakfast: drink 2 cups of skim milk----18 grams of protein
Lunch:Eat a serving of chicken or tuna or whatever--- make sure its 20 grams of protein
Dinner: Chicken, beef, turkey burger, depends.. some times some veggies and cheese also... 20 grams of protein
in the evening I try to drink 1-2 cups of mild 9-18 grams of protein
some times I drink coffee through the day and of course water
At 7:00 I have 1/2 of a Grande SF FF latte 5 proteins 50 cals
10 am 1/2 of a Pria snack bar 4 proteins 65 cals
12:30 mostly some type of cheese (cottage, cheddar) 14 proteins 110 cals
3:30 rest of my latte 5 proteins 50 cals and the other 1/2 of pria 5 protein 50 calories
6:30 3oz fish, shrimp or crab 20 protein 150 calories
8:30 some kind of fruit with 1/2 oz cheese
so I average about 500-590 calories a day and about 50 proteins. I also get between 50-60 oz of water. I think I'm doing something wrong cause I've only lost 74lbs - only 4 lbs since 2/1-------------

Hi Heidi, well it seems I only eat twice a day as well. I have a protein drink first thing in the a.m., and then I'm full till lunch. Have protein of some sort (today was a subway club salad), and then around 3 have another protein drink, and then dinner is really skimpy. I just don't eat much at dinner, usually three pieces of the cheese (the already cut pieces that Kraft does) and maybe 3 melba toast. Then at 8 I have another protein. Sometimes I just have a protein drink for dinner.
I drink water a lot during the day as well.

Per my dietician's instructions I eat 5-6 times per day. Just small meals or snacks. I seem to eat about every 3 to 4 hours. It seems to be working because I have lost 97 pounds in just over 5 months. I get in anywhere from 60-80 grams of protein a day and at least 70 ounces of water, decaf tea, crystal ect.
Believe it or not, I eat on a regular schedule -- all three meals. I just don't eat as much. I suspect I eat about 25-30% of what I used to eat each meal. I also snack quite a bit throughout the day. Everything is "normal" I just dont eat as much, and I try to eat better. I dont weigh or otherwise measure my food.
Protein and exercise seems to work for me.
