Im new To the September Board!!

Hello, I just was checking out this board that I did not know existed, and I am happy to see people that have the same month as me. I am down 78 pounds so far, but have been the same for going on 3 weeks! depressing! I started aerobics 2 weeks ago and walk every morning at 5 am brr its cold.. So im hoping to jump start my weight loss again.. I am in need of size 16 jeans also if anyone has some to get rid of.. thanks! Jodi

Welcome to the September Board. Glad to have ya!!!!!!!!! Those stalls KILL me. But as everyone tells me... "when you are not losing pounds, you are losing inches..." Which I find to be true. That is usually when I drop a size... So good luck to you and I hope you start losing again soon.... Marcia

Hi Jodi, I am kinda new also, but you'll like it here people seem to got through the stages together here, I love it. have you tried the plateau diet going around I'm attempting it as we speak (day 2). So far so good! also feel free to check out my site to get to know me. Sorry no picture yet still working on it Marie 246/188/130 How to break a plateau #1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day. I add 2 shakes of about 22 grams each, to meet this requirement [this IS in addition to the high protein food listed below] #4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free Popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free jello broths/bouillon crystal light drinks #5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!! #6 - Keep a food diary and get up to 30 mins of exercise daily GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi Jodi - welcome to the September board. It's great, and a really great bunch of helpful people!! Did you say it's cold at 5 a.m. in Arizona!! But not for long, right!! We are from San Diego, and live in Virginia now, but want to move back to probably Arizona or Nevada area in a few years. Anyway, I am on a stall as well!! Maybe together we can break through it. I know there is a clothing exchange on this OH board, but I don't know how it works. I am just in 16s myself so I am hanging on to the two pair I found at a consignment shop!! You might want to check out the goodwill stores, or consignment. Good luck, and post often! love donna
