How are we doing?
Apologies for the lateness of this post. I should have done this yesterday but I have already been to 3 video shoots this morning, and it's just 8am. Crazy week at work.
So, how are we doing? If the averages are any indication, we're doing great. We pushed through the half way mark and now have lost an average of 50.6% of our excess weight, or 23.5% of our total weight.
We're losing and average of 325 pounds a week, have lost a total of just over 3 tons, and have just shy of 3.25 tons to go. We started out at 13.5 tons, and now weigh a svelte 10 tons. When we all get to goal, we'll be a skinny 7 tons. Our current BMI is 36.6, almost out of surgery range and safely "obese" in stead of morbidly so.
On average, we are weighing in at 226.1 pounds and have lost 68.7 pounds with 71.6 pounds to go. Several of us are now over 100 pounds lost, several of us are less than 50 pounds to goal.
So let's hear it for ourselves... let's give ourselves a hand! We're doing great, as we all approach the 20 weeks out mark.
I'm in those 8-10 days per month that I just don't lose. I'm trying not to get discouraged but . I've also had issues eating since xmas, it seems everything gets stuck.. I have an appt with the gastroentrologist (sp) on Thursday

I had the same thing happen to me right after surgery Micha. All they did was put me to sleep, put a scope down my throat and strech the opening to my stomach. It is painless. My throat was alittle sore the next day but otherwise painless. And that did the trick...haven't had trouble eating since.
