Help, being at plateau is killing me!!!
here is the Plateau Buster diet from the main message board:
How to break a plateau
#1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
#2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day
#3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day
#4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day
beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened (?) peanut butter beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee
sugar free soda
sugar free jello
broths/bullion (sp?)
crystal light drinks
#5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!

I have been on a plateau for 3 wks now also, I have lost 100 lbs and have been stuck since. I always eat and excercise as I should so I have decided to stop worrying about. I keep thinking..."please God tell me this weight has to come off" I finally asked my nurse is it possible that the weight will not come off, she said "no" it has no choice.

I wanted to add something I just read on another board, you tend to stall at the weight, where You have been before(usually for long period of time), you know that makes a whole lot of sense and yes, I was at this current weight for about 6 months until I got pregnant, so maybe that will also encourage you, it did me!!!
Hi All
I'm in the same boat. I have lost 90 lbs. and have stalled for a month exactly today! I have increased protein intake and water intake, hoping it will help. I also, three weeks ago, started exercising and I do it three days a week. Doc says that my body has to catch up then I will start to lose again. I hope my body catches up real soon so the scale will move again
