I finally had a WOW moment !
Yesterday I decided to go to the mall. My kids gave me gift cards and they were burning a hole in my wallet... I walked into sears and was looking at pants. I found a pair of black jean type pants grabbed a size 24 ( I was wearing 26) and took them into the fitting room. Tried them on and .....they were a little big ! So I went out and got a size 22 thinking " na I'm not going to fit in these" I tried them on....zipped them up and buttoned them ! I was so excited . I bought them ! I came home put them on and showed hubby. He was happy for me but mentioned that they were tight by my hips..(he is used to seeing me in baggy clothes now )..I said "don't worry they will get bigger as I lose more weight" I tried on size 24 jeans and they fit but they were too long. ( Think when I shrunk in size I shrunk in height ??) Just wanted to tell someone...

Congratulations!
That is awesome. Thing I've noticed, there are sizes where the difference in the waist is dwarfed by the length of the crotch, so that the length gets interesting.
Size 50 male pants are long in the crotch, and size 48's are much shorter. I can wear a 48 in the waist, but the crotch is, currently, to short. Another couple of weeks and the 48s will fit right.
THat may be what happened in the size 24's. The longer crotch is no longer fitting right, and it makes you feel you aren't tall enough for the pants. The size 22 fits right in the crotch, but may not be quite there in the hips. Time will fix this.
WOW....that's great! Isn't this the best feeling???
The jeans that I tried on right after surgery and didn't fit can now be taken off and on without unzipping them!!! I'll have to also try on a pair of 22's that I got at Walmart the day after Thanksgiving (door buster sale) for 5 bucks and see if they fit.
Keep up the good work!
