Been Grazing Help Me stop ( Advice)

I can totally relate, I have been so disapointed with myself, because I have been making such terrible choices since Christmas. I tried sugar, I should never have done this because now I know I don't dump, and that is what was keeping me for eating sugar. I also had wine, which I was going to refrain from, wine didn't do anything to me either. I find myself snacking on very bad carbs, junk food, hand full here, hand full there when I get hungary. I need to go through my cabinets and get rid of all the "crap". It's hard for me to figure out things to eat too, so I get board of the same ole same ole, that's just laziness on my part, not looking not taking the time to cook, etc. Anywhooo..just wanted you to know that i relate to your pain, you're not alone, and it's good to know I'm not either. my worst fear is that I go right back to the same eating habits I once had.

I figured out how to stop eating the wrong things and stop eating at the wrong times... I live alone most of the time...but since Dec 17th I have had my daughters home from college (they leave to go back to school on Jan 16th). During the holidays there was so much food in the house...I was really good...didn't eat anything I really wasn't supposed to or tried not to. Everytime I reached for something or thought about something that I would "like" to have I told myself that it just wasn't worth it.. Obviously I need to have food in the house for 3 other ppl (19, 21 & 21 yr olds b/f 22) but I have convinced myself that I will NOT eat it. As soon as they are gone...I will depleat the house of any BAD food...I will send it home with the 21yr old or just give it away or toss it..I don't want it in my house. we've worked way too hard to destroy this. My scale isn't really moving but I know I am losing inches...all my clothes are just way too big. Get a hobby...call a friend on the phone..call an OH friend...do anything other than food! I've read other posts from you...you were so good about exercising...at night instead of going in the kitchen jump on your elyptical for 5 mins or drink a bottle of water...do anything except go in the kitchen! I turn my kitchen lights out at night ... I don't go back in unless it's for water. You just need to make your head feel the same as your heart...your heart wants to lose weight and keep it off, your head is the deterent. good luck hon...just remember you're doing this for YOU. hugsssssss...Linda

Thank you for the help. I am doing much better, I started my excercise up yesterday. Thank you for the support I needed it. I started keeping a log on fitday.com It seems like it will keep me intouch with over eating.. thank you Barb
