Let the hair loss begin....

Me too! My surgery was 9/19 as well, and sure enough, I noticed it starting on 12/19! Funny. Sorta. Anyway, it's sure coming out by the brush-full, and on my pillow, and in the shower...yikes. BUT, I know it will stop. I haven't found anything to help really, and I don't think much will stop it--just part of the cycle. Our bodies are making us move to the shedding cycle of hair growth earlier than normal, but we'll be back to the growing cycle again soon and this will just be a memory. Keep the faith! I just started GNC Ultra Nourishair vitamins--they are HUGE. I have to crush them up. I'll post again if they help down the road. I'm taking them mostly to help with the new growth. I know it won't stop the loss. Hang in there, Holly

I started losing my hair more about 2 weeks ago and I am 3 months out. I already have thin hair from having the diabetes and I was hoping that now that I am cured from the diabetes that my hair would grow back..I was wrong now I am going to lose it from the surgery but I just hope and pray everyday that it will come back once everything is stable. I have heard there is hope and it grows back fuller and prettier than ever!! So lets keep the faith!!!
