Hey Who is exercising and what are you doing??
Hi
I have been walking a mile and a half but its too cold for me outside so I went and joined a gym this past week and went today for the first time.I walked on the treadmill for 36 minutes and than did the bicycle for 6 minutes.I walked 1.10 miles on the treadmill and rode 2.25 miles on the bicycle.I plan on going back tomorrow and walking the treadmill again and Friday I am doing water exercises that they have.I plan on doing strengh trainning as well to tone and firm my muscles.

Next to you, Shellie, I'm the lazy one of the group too. I always have been when it came to aerobic exercise or toning.
Lately, I'm finding that I really love my recumbent exercise bike and do between 30-45 minutes on it about 3-4 times a week. For me, that's good! I do feel better after I do it. (I'd rather take a nap!)

Hi there,
I am glad to know we are all fitness buffs! I joined a gym and work out about 8-10 hours a week. I do a yoga pilates class for 90min two times a week and a half hour weight training on the same day. Then the remaning three days this intense cardio weight training combo class called Triple Threat it's amazing! that class is also 90 min then I will do a 30 min ab class before the Triple Threat class. I find I get more out of classes than going to a gym on my own. When I do go on my own I will do cardio for 45min followed by 45 min of weight training. I am starting to get some great definition in my body and I like it. The only draw back is that I am building muscle because I am eating so much protein. I just don't want to look like She-Ra when I hit goal!

Shell,
I have a membership at the YMCA. I try to get there 3-4 times a week. 30-40 mins on the eliptical or treadmill, then 30-40 mins of free weights. I didn't get there as much as I would have liked over the holidays, but I didn't beat myself up about it. Now that I'm 75 pounds lighter, I find myself more active all the time. Today at work, I took no elevators, and I work in a ten story building!
Good Luck,
Linda R
