New Year, New Me!

I had a couple of great wow moments I just had to share. Yesterday we went to Target to get some stuff and I decided to try on a shirt and it actually fit. I haven't been able to buy clothes from Target in sooo long. Today, I went to Catherine's to exchange something and decided to try on some pants. I figured they would be way too small but I put on a pair of 22W and they actually fit. I recently started losing my hair so today I decided to get a haircut. I figured it would be a little less depressing to see short hairs on the ground instead of long ones. My hair was to my waist and now it is to my shoulders. I have never had short hair because fat chicks normally don't look good with short hair but my hair actually looks pretty cute. My goal was to lose 60 pounds by X-mas and unfortunately I didn't make it but I did lose 58 pounds. I think, so far, my year is going to go great.

"I have never had short hair because fat chicks normally don't look good with short hair ." I resemble that remark.... I have had short hair for like forever. And I like the way I look with short hair. And I am definately a fat chick.! (just joking ) I could never grow my hair past my shoulders so I always kept it short and I like it that way. Hubby is always saying " why don't you just get it shaved !" For me comfort is best....Who knows maybe you will like keeping your hair shorter than before. Much easier to manage from my point of view. Sandy

I have had short hair for the past three years. I did have hair down to the middle of my back and people told me it made me look it made me look old. Well it was all gray. Beleive it or not under the hair color I am a gray headed woman. Completly. So now I am trying to grow it out again. It is going thru transistion and looks terrible. Cant do nothing with it. Ok, I've got to apologize. I didn't realize how bad my "fat chicks" remark sounded. I really just meant that I have never looked good with short hair because my face was (past tense) always so fat. I hope I didn't offend anyone out there.
