I have been getting HORRIALE pains in my legs, arms, and shoulders I don't think it's really my bones more like joints or muscles but it's to the point that it wakes me up in the night. I have a appt with my doc on Thursday and plan on taking to him about it, but what can I do now?? And why would they be hurting so bad?? Has this happened to any of you?? I take all my vitamins I just got my B-12 shot on Friday. I think I need protin My doc told me not to take it because of the calories so I didn't I eat alot of chili and foods with the protien in it but not a protein shake. Sarah~ 264/198/150ish

Here's a thought. As you lose the weight, and you've lost A LOT of weight, our body posture changes. You are carrying yourself different. You're pulling on your muscles in ways you never have before. It is bound to cause a few aches and pains. Bring it up with the doc. You may be potassium poor, and the solution to that would be bannanas. But I'm feeling some of the same things and I honestly believe it is because I walk, sit, and move differently.

Thank you for your reply I really didn't even think of that. My aunt (she had WLS in 2000) said that it could be the potassium too so we'll see on Thursday. Thanks again. Oh by the way your WOW moment a few weeks back about going to the craft store cracked me up I loved it keep up the good work!! Sarah

I had that a few years ago. I had all kinds of test. My legs and calves hurt so bad it was like a joint pain. They couldnt find nothing. I got off my depression medicine and it went away. So I would say my medicine caused mine. I cant beleive you can not drink any protein drinks. That is the only way I get most of my protein. Your body needs protein. I hope you can get to the problem fast Hugs Barb

Could be dehydration, too. Sometimes if we're not getting in enough liquids, our bones and muscles can hurt. Hopefully your doctor will run some bloodwork and see if anything is awry. Let us know what happens. paula
