Hi bold friends - so has anyone tried any Chinese food?? Or any other ethnic food? I've tried Mexican, had a burrito and sliced it down the middle and scooped some of the stuff out, also dumped everything out of a taco and had that. Had some tom yum soup (Thai), but now I am curious about Chinese. Any hints?? I know to stay away from rice, but is there anything we can eat. Come on, i've read about you all taking little sips of this and that, so don't tell me no one has not tried Chinese and been successful!! Right! donna

Donna, I have tried Chinese food. I have had chicken w/ cashews and asked them to please hold the rice. I am able to eat most of the chicken and some of the cashews, but I never get to the vegetables. I say, try it...just be careful of the type of sauce and eat the protein first! ~~em

I've had Chinese a few times already...I always get steamed pea pods with shrimp and it comes with a low fat garlic sauce. Yummy. I don't do the old traditional orders of Chinese anymore like I used to. Maybe some day. paula

I do chicken and brocoli. Doesn't bother me. I usually order a small or pint, and gives me a good 3 meals. The only thing I can't handle is scrambled eggs.

Hi Tracie - from all the suggestions I've gotten this didn't seem to be as hard as I thought!! By the way, at first I was able to do scrambled eggs, but lately I've been grossed out by them. Guess my taste has changed. donna

Make sure there is no msg used. Make sure it's not battered or deepfried. SKip the sugary things like sweet n sour or seasame chicken. Skip the rice/noodles Other than that enjoy. Meat & vegies.... mmmm Hubby enjoyed Mongolian beef---- beef in a soy based sauce w/ onions and mushrooms.
