I've had a few things that I've noticed... I'm in 5 pocket jeans again and they are making me feel kind of sexy! My kids are calling me "hot mama" and it makes me feel good..SO, I've been doing a little dance to music in the kitchen this week! The kids laugh and laugh (they're 7 & 5) and think it's great that Mama is getting thinner. My daughter told me she's going to her second grade class and telling them all that "her mama is HOT!" I told her NO, don't you dare! I too can use the regular stalls in the bathrooms...I always used the handicapped ones. I have more energy. I noticed the other day that I was actually sitting down and had my legs crossed like a lady!!! That had NOT happened in a LONG time! My seat belt is easier to fasten! I'm ALWAYS COLD!!!!!!!!! Paula

A WOW moment for me is when I realized that I no longer "fill up" my office chair! I can sit and have room on either side now! Another one was when I dropped my keys on the floor in the car while getting in. I was sitting down and was able to bend over and pick them up. I used to have to get all the way out of the car to do that. One more...I sat on my bed and put my foot up on my dressing table stool to paint my toenails. I used to have to stand up and put one foot on the stool - and could barely reach over my big belly- it Was a CHORE - now it is so easy! ~Emily 285/222/147

Actually its kind of weird. I was walking on the treadmill the other day and my shoe came untied. I stepped on the sides of the tread and just bent over and tied my sneaker. I didn't even give it a second thought. Tying my shoes used to be a big deal. Making sure there was a place to put my foot up just to reach it. I can hardly wait for more moments. thanks for sharing everyone it makes my day. It is also good to see that others have had similar problems that I have had.... d

Well, I am finally in size 18s!! That is something. My stomach looks flatter (boobs look like gym socks with nibbles on the end of them, though!!). I am slowly getting compliments - one of my friends that I met for dinner and hadn't seen since surgery told me I looked 'stunning'!! That was mind blowing. And most important - I am just feeling more normal!! Love that feeling. donna

1. Sitting in an airline seat, being able to clip the belt without an extension, and putting down the tray without it hitting my stomach! 2. Crossing my legs! I haven't done this in 10 years! 3. Being able to sit in a booth at a reasturant, actually fitting in and not feeling like I'd need to grease-up to get out! 4. Running up and down the stairs at work. 5. Fitting into clothes that I haven't been able to wear in years. My Dr. was worried I'd look like I was blasted in from the 70's, but like many of you, my wardrobe, spans the size range (14-32)! Thanks for asking the question BT. It's always good to remind ourselves of what it is we're grateful for! Linda R

Seems like we all are having WOW moments often now. One of mine was, I SAT DOWN in the bathtub,,been taking showers for years cause Icouldnt get up when I got down,,,well,,this time the water went all the way around me!! I didnt touch the sides!! I too rode an airplane, and no seat belt extension and the tray fit fine!! I went shopping with a granddaughter for a party outfit for her. While there I tried on a suit,,size 20!! It fit! This from a 26-28 in September!! Well, I went back and bought the suit the next day..and dontcha know,,Im almost in an 18 now??!!! Love it!! I crossed my legs today for the first time since 1989! My watch band is in the second hole now,,was in the 7th!! Shoes have gone from a size 11W to a comfy 10 and shrinking! This surgery was the best thing I have ever done!! Im having a ball. Went to the doc and my blood pressure was normal, and he said I was way ahead of the game in weight loss. WOOHOO!! Congrats everybody on your successes!! Looking forward to hearing of more!

Living in Southern California I have been invisible to the opposite sex. I mean literally, men avert their eyes, it's very strange. Now that I am smaller, doors are being held open for me and more and more men are smiling. Not all, there are still a lot that still avert their eyes but it is nice to not be so invisible. My dream was to not have men ignore me and it's so nice to see that finally coming true. I don't have any hopes of getting married or even getting a date because I know that the surgery cannot cure that. Just to be noticed is nice though. Carla

Carla, I hate to tell you this honey, but those toads that don't notice you at a certain weight -- well they are out here on the East Coast as well!! Not that I'm looking for that (I'm an 'older woman') but it is nice once in a while to have someone notice you, right! But the other day I did put my trash out to the curb, and our neighbor who for the last 7 years has not looked my way once or given me the time of day -- well he was actually a tad bit flirty!! The toad!! I wasn't buying it!! You just hang on Ms Carla, it won't be long till you have to fight them off your doorstep!! You are a beauty right now!! love donna
