New stats? What do you think?
Okay, I seperated this so I didn't loose any updates in a discusion of new stats to track. But I'd like suggestions to addition stats I could track for the group. Anyone have any ideas?
A few I thought of were "excess weight." If we reported our personal goal weights, I could add that to the spreadsheet and we could see not only how much we've lost, but how far we have to go.
Another might be a scale of 1-10 about how we feel about the surgery. Is it going well in our minds? Did we have a good week?
I'm open to more ideas about what we should track as a group. Exercise? Don't know how we'd do that, but it might be worth trying if we could figure it out.
So give me your suggestions. What would the group like to see?
Hi there,
I think personal goals is an excellent addition as well! Also, concerning exercise..which I need all the inspiration I can get for that...why not have us posts the amount of time we NEED to exercise and the amount we ACTUALLY do. Then we could see the average amounts and the deviation. I don't know, just rambling.
Hi Mike,
Again, another great job on the spreadsheet! You are the bomb!
As far as your suggestions, I think they're great.
Goal Weigh: It would be fun to know how far we all have to go.
Scale rating of how one feels: This is also great. I would do one for surgery over all, and then one for that week. I know myself, I have good days and bad days. I would also have the Sept board rate, water intake, protien intake, and degree of head hunger.
Exercise: This is a hard one, but could be helpful. I think you would need to define what type of exercise. Some may only be able to walk a 30 min mile, at a slow pace, while others are buring up the treadmill. Plus, there are so many other types of exercise that people do, i.e lift weights, mat classes, etc. This would make the question more meaningful.
One other suggestion I'd like to make, is designate a day of the week to log-in info with you. This way you could keep the data as up to date as possible.
Hope this helps.
