Just want to get an idea of how much everyone is able to or does exercise. I admit it, I'm lazy and do not exercise nearly the amount I should be. I did ride my bike last night for a half hour and it felt good. Paula

That is my biggest down fall. I watch my grandson during the week and by the time he leaves I am not into exercising. Wednesday my daughter has off so I went to our rec center. They have an indoor track , weight machines, bikes, treadmills etc so I did the track a mile and the bike a mile. My legs were sore and my back is bothering me now. I'm going to at least try to get there on Wednesdays maybe some nights too. Now I just need some music to get me moving. Sandy

Paula, If my time schedule permits I ride my elliptical machine for 20 minutes in the mornign and 20 minutes at night. I should walk more but I live in Northern NY where it is -20 so I don't like to get out in the cold. I do have a walk DVD, but I am running my children around so much lately that I am having a hard time getting time in with the elliptical machine. Christine

I walk for at least an hour a day. I'm a SAHM, and I have one in kindergarten and one in preschool for a few hours a week (and another that's almost 2). So one way or another, I get the walking in. Before it was freezing out, we'd walk my oldest home from school and to and from Daisy Scouts. Sometimes I take the youngest and do some mall walking while my other daughter is at preschool. If I can't get out to get it done, I hope on the treadmill. In addition to that, I do Pilates and yoga and I'm gradually getting into more strength exercises. I had dislocated a knee 3 weeks before I had surgery, so it's been a little slow getting into some weight bearing things. I would be riding my exercise bike for a change, but it hasn't been able to handle that yet. I need to try it again soon. Amy 265/195/160

Hi, Its real hard but I walk for 45 minutes a day. Luckly I have a weight room at work, so I just go in early and workout. The good part is the treadmill I use lets me know how many calories I burn. Today I actually burned 340 calories..... I have had a good weight loss 50 lbs in 2 months. The one week I wasn't able to walk- during thanksgiving week- I ended up not loosing at all and I felt terrible.. good luck d

Not enough. I want to do more but I get up at 5:30, go to work, get home by 6pm, get the kids fed and into bed, then collapse... haven't figured out where to find time to walk!!! Rachel

I'm lucky that where I work we have 2 gyms and one happens to be in my building 7 floors down. I go during lunch, I started out going M-W-F, but changing it to everyday this week.

I go to Ladies Workout Express (on the same line as Curves) 5 - 6 days a week. I have also bought a Gazelle and I use that for 15 mins each morning before getting in the shower for work and 15 mins at night before bed. I am determined to get this weight off.
