First blood labs back....

I'm 9 weeks out and got my first lab results back and everything was fine except my iron was low so they are having me take iron twice a day instead of once. I'll never be able to go to the bathroom now Did anyone else have issues with their first labs?

Hi, My surgery was 9-16 Lap RNY and my first labs were done Nov and my iron was REALLY low, too... 29.. I think it was supposed to be 120-180? or something like that. Anyway, I was not experiencing any normal syptoms but you bet...increase the iron pills!! I am also using MOM for bowel control... gotta have it now.. good luck. J

Thanks... I'm glad I read this post...it reminded me that I have a lab slip that I received in my 6 week class that I need to go and have my labs for my 12 week class. =), Monique

My first labs came back and I was put on potassium to drink 3x a week. Also, my liver is acting up. I have to blood work again in 3 months. Is anyone else having problems? Diana

I drink that nasty orange stuff 3x day. I have to do that because I am on water pills for a heart problem. And my pottasium gets low. If your potassium gets low it can make you very sick. Happy holidays Barb
