Hey Deb!
So were surgery buddies! hee hee
I drink a brand called Designer whey but it does not have as much protein in it as other brands. It only has 18g so I add a scoop of Beneprotein which is tastless and also adds another 6g of protein. This is what is working for me now. I figure that even though it is not one of the highest protein drinks out there, at least it's something I can get down as opposed to something that just sits in my cupboard.
Good luck on finding one you like. Let me know if you want more info on the one I drink, I get it at GNC and it's chocolate flavor. I also like the one thats chocolate/peanut/carmel.

Hi Krista,
My highest weight in July (I believe) was 265. The Friday before surgery (surg 09/20) I weighed in at 251. Now I'm sitting at 204 - haven't decided if I'm stalling right now or not, but I'd gladly take it to lose some more inches!
I've gone from size 20 - 22s in pants to 16s. I'm SO excited about that. I'm mostly still in XLs for shirts, but they are getting bigger.
So far I'm thrilled to death, I have no complaints at all!

Hi everybody!
I had the laperascopic RNY on 9/8 and my weight was 290. Today I am 244 at 10 weeks out. 46# down--could be a lot better because I have not been exercising as I should have. I've been disappointed and that's my own fault! (Lose 3 or so lbs than stall for a week...over and over).
Got out the exercise stuff starting last night and am determined to do this!
Good luck everyone!

My surgery was 9/26 just a little over 7 weeks. Surgery morning I weighed in at 258. This morning I weighed in at 216. Down 42lbs!!!
I have gone from a 26/28 pants to size 22. I was so excited when I bought my new size 22 jeans last weekend!! I was still wearing my size 26 & 24 jeans that were so baggie, my 14yo son was saying I look like some of the rappers that sag and bag...LOL
I started taking pepcid ac last night & will be taking it 9am & 9pm daily to see if that helps with my "stuck" feeling, since I do not have a stricture.
As for exercise... well... I have not been doing much of that at all. I went back to work 1 week after surgery, so when I get home I am exhuasted and just rest (as much as possible with 4 kids at home) and the weekend my DH lets me sleep in till noon. So I know I need to get my hiney n gear on this.
Everyone is doing great!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
