Incision still not closed

Hi everyone!!! I had my surgery 9/19. One of my incisions has still not completely closed. It is still scapped over. Last night, after taking a shower, I placed a band aid on it, and now it has puss on it (just a little). Is anyone else experiencing this?

you may want to get it checked out because my incision got infected and had to be reopened and packed. I had my surgery 9/1 and it is still not healed. I had my procedure lap and all the others healed but one. So not abdnormal but I would let my doctor know.

It sounds like a possible infection, you should go see your doctor and get your incision checked. Good luck!

Hello Tanna, in the mean time keep the incision clean and dry, open to air. No bandaids, no creams. It would be really good if you can avoid moisture too. Maybe sponge bath your stomache, and no direc****er. This will help until you get in to see the doc. Btty Boop60
