How Much?

Well everybody, today was my 8 week weigh in. 273/235/150 I am down 38 pounds so far... How is everybody else doing???? And are you happy, frustrated, excited, or not sure with the rate of your loss? Marcia

I had my surgery on 9/1005 and I am down 40 pounds. I am happy with it just sometimes I have a fear that it will stop because I am still in denial that this time I really will loose ALL the weight and keep it off. I have a fear that for some reason it won't work on me and I will just stop loosing but to my suprise I keep going down so Yayyyyhoooo!!! I have seen some loose more than me already but I keep telling myself slow and steady finishes the race.

I can relate to what you are saying Kimmy I had wls on Sept.14th and have lost 39lbs but in the back of my mind i'm thinking is this really gonna work for me? I think its that nasty ole devil just trying to get me down. Tonya

Hi Denise: I have been following you as we are very close in weight and in when we had our procedure. Mine was 9/1 and I weighed 230 on surgery day and I hit 196 on Friday. I was really down for a while but you always seem so upbeat that it has inspired me. Thnaks. Va Girl.

I am 8 weeks out, I had open RNY on sept 8th and I have lost 60 pounds. 266/206/140

It's been 9 weeks today for me and I have lost 47.5 lbs. I think it is about average..some have lost more, some less. I feel good about it, but really wish that I could just be skinny already lol. Beth 301/253.5/160

I'm 8 weeks too ... down 34 since surgery ... 61 since first doctor appointment of this journey (December) Seem to be losing in stair steps .. .lose one week, stall for two, loose some more, stall for another two or more....frustrating, but lets me wear clothes more than once after I buy them!!
