Foamies anyone????
I have been having a real problem with the "foamies", you know , I eat something and then it feels like an alka seltzer is going off in my pouch,,and it builds and builds till I have to spit it all up...this is becoming an everyday occurance. Anyone else experiencing this???
A friend of mine who had his surgery a year ago and has lost 300 pounds,,told me to d444rink something hot in the mornings, to keep the mucous buildup down in the pouch,,but it still happens. Anyone got any ideas why,,or what to do???
As a matter of fact, I have been throwing up...it builds to a point where I cant stand it anymore, and have to. Because of it, I am afraid to try new foods,,and havent been taking my vitamins either. Now, today I took my chewables for the first time in a week,,and did fine. But anything solid and I tend to froth,,and its painful in the middle of my chest. I was wondering if it might be a stricture. I go to the doc on the 30th, but if I keep doing this Ill schedule earlier. If I stay on the pureed stuff I seem to do fine,,but Im 8 weeks out,,should be doing better than that.
I had this problem bad about 2-3 weeks ago. I was constantly throwing up mucas and when I would eat anything, it wouldn't stay down because whenever I would choke up the mucas, it would make me heave. I did get checked for a stricture and I didn't have one. The doctor put me on a patch (the one that goes behind the ear for seasickness). I also started using flonase and clariton and within 2 days I stopped. The patch affected my vision, so after I was doing good for about 8 days, I stopped the patch on Mon, vision returned, but yesterday, I spent my morning choking up the mucas again, so I put a new patch on and today I am much better.
