8 WEEKS AND SHAKY
I finally got a call from diatition. I told her when this was happening (the shaky and week feeling) It seems to happens when I have a protein shake for a meal. She told me to try eating a reguler meal and have the protien shakes between meals and see if that helps. She also told me to try the protien bars instead of the skakes they will stay with me longer. The protien shakes were probably going right through me and then I would feel shaky. I'm going to try this. Any ideas on what protien bars are good?

I've heard a ton of great reviews about the Power Crunch Bars...I don't know where people get them...but that's what I hear. I've not tried any yet.
BTW...I've read too that half a bar fills a lot of people up!
It makes perfect sense that your stomach would empty too quickly after a meal of just a shake. Your dietitian was right...eat your meal and a couple of hours afterwards, have the shake to get your protein levels up.

I tried the Power Crunch bars and dont really care for them. They are MESSY and don't sit well in my pouch (even half). I have tried a variety of others and I personally like the Atkins bars. They are available at Walmart. I just limit them to one per day between meals, as they are kinda high in calories (270).
