GNC advise PLEASE!
Hello Beautiful People!!!
I'm going to GNC fot the 1st time in my life.... because this Sunday I finally start on protein shakes and full liquids!!!
I want to know which protein shakes to you recommend or powders..I'm not very finicky about tastes or textures (I think) so I'll try anything
Any advice will help..also what else do they sell at GNC that might be convenient for me..
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Celia,
I would look at labels and buy whatever is on sale lol. One scoop should have about 20g protein and 3g of sugar or less. If you want to watch calories, look at that also. I have bought Mega Whey Extreme Vanilla and Chocolate. The chocolate is ok, the vanilla is really sweet tasting. I mix it with a nasty flavored Isopure that I also got there. I like some Isopure flavors, but the strawberries and cream is nasty. I already bought it, so I have to drink it lol. Also, I buy Nectar online. It tastes like juice instead of like protein shakes normally do. Hope that helps you out a little bit.

I get the Isopure 20 ounce fruit drinks. They have 40 gms of protein, What I do is drink 1/2 of it twice a day.. I pore it into a large glass and water it down just to make it taste better... I do that twice a day and I drink one shake. That makes 61 grams the rest I get natural. So I get around 70 grams aday
Hope this helps

I get the French Vanilla and Chocolate Caramel Whey Protein. I use one scoop of each about 5-6 oz of milk 5 cube of ice, and I sprinkle some decaf instant coffee in the blender and I make like a mochachino. I dont drink all of it, but it gives me a jump start on my protein for the day using 2 scoops. I also buy the Muscle milk. I have tried the chocolate and the Cookies and Cream. Cookies and Cream is my favorite. The muscle milk also has alot of protein and calcium.
Good Luck,
Britt
I use the Designer Whey Protein. The Strawberry is my favorite. I get it at GNC but it is cheaper at Trader Joe's ($8.99). I mix 2 oz of water, two ice cubes and two scoops of powder in a blender and make a thick but small cold shake twice a day, each good for 36 grams of protein. Has worked great for me since surgery.
