What did you eat today?????
Hi my name is Celia and I know this isn't my message board because I had my surgery in October but I like reading yours so I know what to expect.
Anyhow I'd love to know what you ate today... we have this question asked daily in our California Board and it's fun & educational to see what we are all eating... we divide it in
Breakfast
Snack
Lunch
Snack
Dinner
Snack
Water?
Vitamins?
Exercise?

Breakfast -3 ounces oatmeal
Snack-None
Lunch - 3 ounces of bean and ham soup healthy choice
Snack none
Dinner- 3 tiny egg rolls bite size
Snack none
Protein Drink - 20 ounces of Isopure One can of vanilla avantage shake
Water-- 40 ounces + I count my isopure and shake as water so I really had 75 ounces
Vitamins- 1 daily chewable centrum once a day -I take these (Morning and night)2 calcuim pill They are huge-and (2) b12 under tongue
Exercise- Walked 2-1/2 miles did 10 minutes on ellipical and excercised my arms for 5 minutes

I'm five weeks out...
What I ate today:
Breakfast: 3 oz low fat cottage cheese w/ 6 low fat wheat thins
Snack: none
Lunch: 3 oz low fat cottage cheese w/ 6 low fat wheat thins
snack: 1 oz cheddar cheese
Dinner: 1 oz chicken and 3/4 cup steamed broccoli
Snack: stallone pudding
Protein: 70 gms
Water: 70 oz
Vit: yes
Exercise: house cleaning and shopping!
Stallone pudding is high protein (20 gms per serving) with Sylvester Stallone's name on it.
It's not bad, it's not JELLO brand either...but, for me, it's a great way to have a sweet snack and boost my protein by 20gms to get my totals in.
It is costly, someplaces charge up to 7.00 bucks for a four pack, but I found it online for 1.25 a can and thought that was a decent deal.
