A great start to my day!

I was so excited this morning to not only see the scale move from 243 down to 241 but also after I took my shower I tried on a pair of "incentive" jeans I had bout about a month ago in a size smaller than I was and they actually fit!!!! I was wearing a size 22 and now fit into a size 20!!!!! I cant even remember the last time I wore this size! I am 2 lbs away from being in the 230's!!!!! Today I have an appt at Gold's gym to see about getting hooked up with a trainer. I am really excited even though I am really nervous at the same time because I still feel really uncomfertable in the gym enviornment. Wish me luck! Krista Lap RNY 9/12/05 290/241/160

Congratulations on your incentive jeans! That's great. And don't worry about the gym. I know we have this mindset that everyone who goes there has a perfect body except us, but there really are people of all sizes and shapes there. I used to work in a gym (yes, as a fluffy plus-size) and people were always really nice to me - sometimes nicer to me than to the perfect-body employees because I seemed more approachable to them.
