1 month today. 34 pounds gone. BMI 36.2 Only Obese Today

I have lost 26 1/2 inches..... I have lost 34 pounds. My BMI went from 41.3 to bmi of 36.2 in one month. Walking 2 miles a day. I am only abese now. What a month Clothes are hanging off me. I do have a incision that is leaking and a internal stitch that is out . Doctor told me to cut it off. And it will be fine. Take Care Barb

Barb, I'm SO happy and proud of YOU...YEAH YEAH YEAH.... I didn't get to measure myself before surgery or right after and I know I've already lost a lot of inches because my clothes are hanging, oh well. I hope I do as well as you did at one month out! Congrats Ann!! I'm another 9/19 baby, have lost about 27 lbs. and still learning what my pouch will & will not tolerate. Clothes are getting loose, which is ok with belts and drawstrings & such, but just found my BRA is getting too big! Um... thats different! Guess I'll hafta buy a cheapie pretty soon to get me thru!! Besides which, I'm not sure I WANNA lose my boobs!!! Waaaaah!!! LOL Anyway, keep up the good work, and remember... 'stalls' in wt loss are NORMAL and TEMPORARY!!! Huggggs! Melanie
