I'm back!!!

Well everyone, haven't been able to post. i did get out a few days after the lap rny and had to return to the hospital due to bleeding. They went back in lap and cleaned the bleeding up and so now i am two weeks from that and he has me at a stage 4 diet which is not pureed!!!!!! and that is about where i would be at if i had not gone back to the hospital. My one month followup is on the 19th even though that is less than 3 weeks after my last surgery. I am too tired still to stay on line for long but wanted to see how everyone else is doing. Peggy

Yuck, Sounds like a bit of bad luck and you came out great. I totally understand the tiredness thing(lap RNY sept 16) and still tired at times!! best wishes for the long term. j

Hi Peggy, Glad that you found out about the bleeding and had it fixed pronto...phew I'm very tired and lightheaded these last three days. I phoned my surgeon and the nurse told me that I may have over done it last Friday (I brisk walked one mile in 22 min and then took my daughter out at night to get our hair cut, etc) and set myself back. I also took a long car trip to visit relatives yesterday and I'm paying for it today. We have to remember that we had major (you had 2) surgeries and we have to tenderly care for oneself in order to heal and be able to carry on. Some activity daily is necessary, but for me, is too soon to do a lot all at once. Maybe I'll have to walk a mile a day, but over 3 different walking trips, not one! Paula
