What are you taking for pain this week?

I switched from the Dilaudid to Tylenol this week. My surgeon recommends the Tylenol gelcaps softened in your mouth first or the new Tylenol Rapid Release. The gelcaps were HUGE and freaked me out, so I couldn't take it. I broke one open and mixed it w/ water and GROSS ... I then went and bought the Rapid Release tabs and it went down easily and took care of my discomforted, sore stomach. paula

I tried to crush tylenol and mix with water and YUCK! Then I found liquid tylenol, it is marked something like "sore throat" but if you read the label, it is just a liquid version of tylenol. I am not taking anything now, but this is what I used after I came off the liquid percaset.

I've used only the rapid release tylenol since the first day home ...took them once a day for 4 days ....then stopped. now I take them only at bedtime on nights that I'm restless and can't get to sleep ... Jody
