Sore on left side.....
Hi Barb,
I am doing really well. I FINALLY am getting some energy back. I went back to work last week and it was rough, but gets easier every day. I am getting sick of eating this pureed, soft, and mushy stuff. I go back for my next appointment on November 3rd and hopefully then I will be cleared to start incorporating more foods into my diet. Right now it's basically cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and protein shakes. How are you doing?
I am doing the same. I go back in a week. I am sick of the foods to. I am feeling better. Some days I have energy other days I have none. I did have open and I am sore on the left side still. I still where my binder. I am eating the same as you. I am sick of the same food. I am doing around 600 calories a day.
Take Care
Barb
Hi. I had surgery 9/26. I am still on a liquid diet and will be until I go back on 11/3. Right now, scrambled eggs sound wonderful!! Can't wait.
I had pain on the left side, too. My doctor said I had a big stitch there and he's be worried if I didn't have a little pain.
I usually post on the MS board, but will have to start visiting this one, too. Nice to be with others who are around the same stage as me. Hope everyone is doing okay.

I had my surgery on 9/1/05 and yes the soreness on the left side is normal. Since that's where most of the surgery was done, it could be sore for a few months, according to the nurse at the WISH center where I had my surgery. I also had a bump and was worried maybe it was a hernia, but she said that is just the area where the incision is healing internally, nothing to worry about!
