Home... and happy
Well... I'm home and I lived through my RNY. I'm pleased that all went so well. I'm a bit sore... not bad though. I have suffered the most from the gas pain. My doc finally gave me a suppository and some milk of magnesia. Within minutes I was passing some of the painful gasses. I have been great about my walking... but do find wearing the binder the best of all... it really gives me a sense of support. I like it. I've been getting down about 30ish ounces of liquid a day. Not the full 64 but the nurses say I'm doing well. Now that the gas is starting to disipate, I think I may be able to get in more...it's just that with the gas I felt FULL before I drank or ate. So hopefully in the next few days I'll increase my liquids.
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and support

Welcome home! Glad to see ya on this side. It's going to be awesome, aren't you excited?? I'm so happy to see you are doing well so far. Sounds like you're on the right track. I wish I had a binder from the beginning especially. Never was offered one, but I bet that would have helped with the sore muscles in my stomach.
Bless ya,
Kelly
